INDIVIDUALS

Pranayama in daily life

Yoga never ends when we roll up the mat.

The real practice of Yoga and especially pranayama, begins the moment we step back into everyday life.

Taking a conscious breath before an important meeting.
Pausing for a few slow breaths before responding in anger.
Returning to a long, steady breath when stress arises.
Observing the breath before making an important decision.
Walking, eating or engaging in conversation while maintaining a calm and quiet breath.

Each of these moments becomes a Yoga practice.

Gradually, the breath ceases to be a technique and becomes a lifelong companion.

In the teachings of T. Krishnamacharya and T.K.V. Desikachar, pranayama is always adapted to the individual.

There is no single "perfect" way to breathe that applies to everyone. There is only the appropriate breath for each person, at a particular moment in life.

This is why gradual progression is essential.
The breath is never forced.
It is patiently educated, always respecting the unique capacities of the individual. As breathing becomes more fluid, the body opens and the mind becomes increasingly stable.

A path towards
inner freedom

A training
rooted in experience

Pranayama reminds us that every breath offers the opportunity to begin again.

With every inhalation, we welcome life.
With every exhalation, we learn to release what no longer needs to be carried.

Breath after breath, we cultivate a deeper presence, a clearer mind and a more open heart.

Perhaps this is one of T. Krishnamacharya's greatest teachings: the breath is not merely what keeps us alive. It is what can teach us how to live fully.

As an Integral Yoga teacher, I do offer individual and group classes based on asanas and pranayamas which lead towards Meditation. Contact me to know more about it.

And for the seeker who wants to commit to a transformative programme, please pay attention to the next section.

This programme is designed to go beyond a collection of breathing techniques. Its purpose is to help you understand the relationship between the breath, the body and the mind.

Together, we will explore how pranayama could be adapted to you and how conscious breathing can gradually become an integral part of your daily life. The programme will evolve gradually for a duration of 3 to 4 months, at your own pace.

You will not simply learn how to breathe.
You will learn how to observe.
How to listen.
How to adapt.

You are ready to enroll in the programme or you want to ask any questions, please contact me.
